The problem here is that there's a fair bit of disagreement over when the best time to read New Spring is. Plus, if you pick it up first, it will spoil some of the events in the first few novels. Whilst 2022 was dominated by news about The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Wheel of Time team has been hard at work on the second season for a long time now. The world of The Wheel of Time made its way to our TV screens back in late 2021 after showrunner Rafe Judkins developed the show for Prime Video. Sadly, Jordan passed away in 2007, though fellow fantasy magnate Brandon Sanderson was brought in to help finish the final three books in the series and ensure the story was completed. Jordan produced his best-selling novels between 1990-2005. If you don't know the books already, The Wheel of Time is a very highly regarded set of high fantasy novels written by Robert Jordan.
